Happy 61st Birthday, BONANZA! I hope you enjoy one of the original watercolor paintings that appeared during the show’s credits from my collection. This piece was originally gifted from BONANZA creator, David Dortort, to a good friend of his in the industry back in the 60s. It still has the matte black gaffer tape that was placed on it to assist the camera on where to frame the piece for production. It was believed that all of the original watercolor paintings had been either lost or destroyed. I am happy to say that at least one still exists and am proud to share this piece with you which remained in storage for 60 years.
